Dragon Design changes with the Seasons.

The design of our demonstration website is created with the use of external 'Cascading Style Sheets' or CSS as they are better known.
These style sheets dictate the appearance of the site from the main header image, navigation bar, colours, fonts, margins, etc. They take an ordinary text page and turn it into the fluid design you see before you.
The best way to illustrate the effect is to view the home page without the style sheets attached.

Everything you see on our demo site is created using CSS. The buttons and rollover effects on the navigation bar. The colours, fonts and images to create the main site window. The style and position of the random quotation cell.
The biggest advantage from a design point of view is that the CSS sheets can style all the pages in an entire website. So if a change to the design needs to be made site-wide, it can be done in seconds by altering a single command in the CSS.
To showcase this feature to its fullest we have created three completely different themes for our demo site based on the seasons of the year. A PHP script looks at the date held on the host server and executes the relevant CSS depending on the time of year.
Visit us again at a different time in the year and our demo site will have a whole new fresh feel about it, without us having to edit a single page. The posibilities are endless.
